Hi! My name is Peyton Martin and I am the Senior Student Athletics Photographer at the University of Oklahoma. I will graduate with a BA in journalism from Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication with a minor in Spanish in May of 2026.

I was born in raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and graduated from Desert Vista High School in May of 2023. I started pursuing sports photography in seventh grade and fell in love with telling the unique stories of every team on my campus through photos. After serving as the Sports Editor for the yearbook, I decided to pursue a career as a sports photographer at the University of Oklahoma in hopes of impacting the historic athletic department.

I began working for OU Photo in August of 2023 and am currently in my third year. As Senior Student Athletics Photographer, I have covered all 19 sports in both game coverage and studio shoots and have had opportunities to cover the 2023 Valero Alamo Bowl and the 2024 & 2025 Women’s College World Series, and ESPN College GameDay.
